So now that I’m not so averse to self-publishing, what I really need to know is how to market my stuff. To at least make people aware of it. Not sure how to do that. At all. Although a friend of mine did give me some advice, which I’m not sure I’m at liberty to share, so I won’t at this time.–more later.
I’ve now found out even more what having savings is for. I wasn’t confident in the battery in the car, and it was out of warranty, so I’m using most of my savings for that.
I have also found out that this computer of mine, a Lenovo W510, as cool as it is, and regardless of the price (free!), does get kind of hot in transport whilst it’s in a bag. That said, there’s no way I can yet justify getting another computer, like a desktop, just yet. I don’t know if I regret spending that savings on a car battery, but at least that’s one less thing on the car to have to pay for. Next up is about 600.00 for a newly painted roof as the old paint is peeling and I’m seeing some rust. It’s not really getting worse, or not by a lot, but it is certainly ugly.
Also, I’m getting a lot closer on getting “The Hope Project” ready for submission for publication. I just have one or two things to tidy up and I’m there. I’ll submit it to one company of which I’m thinking on Tuesday, 1/20/2015.
Well, I submitted it. And it was turned down. Now I’ve submitted it to a proper publishing house. We’ll see how things go there. In the meantime, the only thing to do is to get started on some new stuff.
